Welcome to the renewed Elsewhere Vangelis site. Over the past few months, all the pages of this site were updated to a new design. The content is still being revised, updated, expanded, corrected and restructured, an always ongoing process. A web site needs to continue to evolve, even when it's more than 15 years since its first incarnation.
Editorial control on this site will from now on involve team work, with Sufian joining Dennis' ongoing maintenance of this site.
Thanks for visiting, and feel free to drop us a line with your thoughts, at elsew.com@gmail.com.

Composer, producer, arranger and performer of some of the most engaging music in the new age, progressive, electronic, film score and ambient genres.
Composing and performing most of his music on a large setup of keyboards and synthesizers, Vangelis has released over 40 albums and created music for film, theater productions, sports events, one-off live concerts and any other art form that inspires him. His music, usually very melodic, often instrumental, sometimes relaxing, but always inspiring, has navigated through a wide range of the musical spectrum, expressing himself in any of the musical palettes, from serious classical music to chirpy electro pop, from jazz induced progressive rock to spaced out ambient music, always adopting these musical languages to his own style of emotion and musical aesthetics.
In a career that started in the early 1960s and still continues today, Vangelis has created music that excelled in gentle tenderness, majestic grandeur, bittersweet melancholy, unearthly weirdness, organic hypnotism, social satire, dreamy optimism, urban paranoia and many more traits, for which words have yet to be invented.
